Visit to the Customer and Innovation Center of Bosch Rexroth in Ulm

Posted on 2022.12.01.2022.12.23. By Takács Donát

At the end of November, Bosch Rexroth organised a thematic day for representatives of hungarian technical universities in the company’s Customer and Innovation Center in Ulm, Germany. The Department of Manufacturing Science and Engineering of BME was represented by Donát Takács, research engineer. During the visit in the new CU.BE building, the attendees had the opportunity to see the latest products and innovations, state-of-the-art technologies and Industry 4.0 solutions of Bosch Rexroth in operation in real life production scenarios, presented in the Model Factory of the Factory of the Future concept. The training programmes of the Bosch Rexroth Academy were also introduced to the guests.

The event also provided the opportunity to discuss further potential cooperation between Bosch Rexroth and BME DMSE in the field of education, research and development, student programmes and the development of the Cyber-Physical Production System of the department. Bosch Rexroth has already provided an Active Assist assistance system for manual assembly tasks to be placed in the department’s laboratory. We are grateful for this generous donation!
