At the AI & AUT Expo (organised in the Hungarian Railway Museum on 14-15 February 2023) we presented the results of the research carried out in the framework of the Artificial Intelligence National Laboratory (MILAB) with a presentation and a demo. With the presentation titled “Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Manufacturing Engineering” we presented the results of the following research areas:
- Maintenance planning and scheduling of production machinery supported by AI methods.
- Tool condition and process monitoring supported by AI methods in the case of machining modern materials.
- Development of composite machining technology based on the detection of fibre reinforcements.
Two National Laboratories were introduced in the Expo: the Artificial Intelligence National Laboratory and the Autonomous Systems National Laboratory. Several presenters from abroad, industrial companies and honoured guests participated to the Expo.
