Colleagues of the HAAS Factory Outlet – BARTEC GmbH, which is the Hungarian sales division of the HAAS machine tool manufacturer company, visited our Department on January 12, 2024. The premise of the honourable visit was to establish direct contact and communication between our institutes, present HAAS’s competencies, and discuss possible opportunities for future collaboration. Our Guests were guided in our Department’s laboratory to observe the infrastructure for R&D and educational purposes and to introduce potentially available applications. We are looking forward to kick-start our collaboration
A direct prelude to the visit was the exceptionally successful performance of our students’ team at the II. Bánki-HAAS Domestic CNC Programming Competition, finishing in 1st place.
