Today’s online opening ceremony marked the start of the nine-month Nespresso Assembly Challenge (NAC) international student team competition announced by Nespresso, Flex and Switzerland Innovation Park Biel/Bienne AG. Student teams of up to five students from the Swiss HE-ARC/BFH, the Hungarian BME and the Mexican Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey will have to develop a solution for the automated-robotic assembly of the 107-component Nespresso Essenza Mini coffee machine and demonstrate it in the laboratories of the mentor universities.
