The Department of Manufacturing Science and Engineering at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics has expanded its laboratory equipment with new precision turning tool holders thanks to the support of MAXITOOL.
The donated tool holders will be used on the Department’s OKUMA LB3000EX II CNC turning center, and they are already being integrated into laboratory sessions during the current semester. In the spring semester, the equipment will support teaching activities in the courses Manufacturing, NC Control and Programming, and Mechatronic Design of CNC Systems, while in the autumn semester it will be used in Manufacturing Process Planning II. and Manufacturing Science. The new tool holders will also be utilized in student projects and departmental research activities.
Our Department places great importance on cooperation with industrial partners, as these collaborations significantly contribute to the development of practice-oriented engineering education and help ensure that our students gain experience with state-of-the-art equipment used in industry.
We would like to thank our partner for their support and hope that further joint professional collaborations and projects can be realized in the future.
