Mitutoyo considers the Department of Manufacturing Science and Engineering as strategic partner. It shows the invitation of the previous Head of Department Dr. Gyula Mátyási and the actual Head of Department Dr. Tibor Szalay to participate on the celebration event in Düsseldorf in September 17.
In the celebration day a nice demonstration was organized where the earliest and the newest equipment were shown and some interested presentation were introduced.
Before the gala dinner the director of the Mitutoyo Europe, Mr. Shigeyuki Sasaki received the beautiful book about the Historic Campus of the BME and the representative book about the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
As the part of the celebration we visited the Japanese Garden in Düsseldorf that was built after the owner of the Mitutoyo Corporation initiation and a Japanese drum show amused the guests of the celebration there.
